C&C Generals..Good or Bad

I think it does! For quite a few reasons...

1. It wasnt made by Westwood!!!!
2. (Dont kill me for this...)The graphics are too good! It ruins the C&C feel...
3. It want made by Westwood!!!!
4. The storylines are pathetic compared to Ra2 or TS
5. It wasnt made by Westwood!!!

I'd have to say it does for reasons 1, 3, 5, and the fact that you use a unit to build structures. That's a good concept though, but it doesn't stick to the original CnC play. And once you're out of supplies, unless you're the U.S. or GLA, you're screwed. And it requires a really good computer to play to keep from lagging, as compared to RA2, but that's understandable. I do like how Generals keeps the idea of 3 independent sides however.

Yeh three independant sides is good, but like you said, once your out of supplies you have no source of income! But it will always stand by the fact that RA2 and TS are a lot better!

It's a shame that TS didn't have 3 independent sides. It's also a shame Westwood didn't make a Yuri campaign. I'm sure they would've had an awesome one!

Yeh a Yuri campaign will have been cool, i hope mine sets the way for more Yuri campaigns in the Future, like you siad before ive never seen a Yuri mission before, let alone a campaign!!!

What do you think Gen would be like if Westwood made it instead of EA?

Hmmm...I think it would have stuck more to the classic C&C gameplay, i think the construction units wouldnt have been in it. Also i think instead of making Generals, Westwood would have made Tiberian Twilight. A follow up to TS using the same graphics has generals. The project was supposedly cancelled by EA when they shut down westwood...(swears loudly lol)

A Tiberian series would be great in Generals gfx. That sux that they cancelled it.

in my opinion Generals ruined the C&C series. It isnt even a real C&C. It doesnt contain the same sides or the same style. EA have messed it all up.
If it was made by Westwood it would be better.
On the other hand, Generals i find is a good game BUT it isnt a C&C.

my P.C has locked up and i lost everything!!!!! ALL OF IT!! I managed to fix my p.c but all of my modding stuff is gone!! Its a major tragedy..Ive lost all progress on my MOD's as well...i think what im gonna do is pack my Modding in and just help others with theirs...Ive had to re-download everything and its takin me ages!
